APC federal lawmaker dies in Abuja (Photo)

Information reaching the OsunReporters News has it that the lawmaker representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban is dead.

According to reports, the two-term All Progress Progressives Congress (APC) lawmaker reportedly died in Abuja hospital during a brief illness.

While announcing the death of Hon Akinremi on Tuesday morning via social media, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Akin Akinwale, mourned the passage of the lawmaker.

However, the ruling party, APC has mourned the lawmaker on X formerly Twitter.

The party wrote: “Our great Party mourns. We have lost Hon. Musiliudeen Olaide Akinremi, member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. Popularly called ‘Jagaban’, he was a member of the Party’s defunct Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee.”

Before his death, Aknremi was the chairman of the House Committee on Science Research Institutes.

He is survived by his wife and children.
