South West Govs’ Forum Elects New Chairman
Information reaching the OsunReporters News confirmed that the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has been elected as Chairman of the South West Governors’ Forum.
According to reports, Sanwo-Olu’s election took place during a closed-door meeting of the six governors of the region in Lagos on Monday.
Sanwo-Olu succeeded the late Ondo State governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who served as the forum’s chairman until his death on December 27, 2023 after brief illness.
