Adeleke’s Special Adviser, Muniru Raji Breaks Silence Over His Purported Arrest

The Special Adviser to Osun State Governor On Political Affairs, Alhaji Muniru Raji Adebayo has described the news of his arrest in circulation on Social Media as unfounding, misleading and completely False.

In a disclaimer statement by his media team made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Tuesday, described the purported arrest of Alh Raji as the handiwork of some elements of the opposition party in the state, noting that Muniru Raji was invited by the Osun State Police Command for clarification on a petition written against him by one Adebayo Adeleke on Monday.

The statement further clarified that Raji had attended to the police invite and returned home after some minute, noting that he is currently at the ongoing Public engagement programme tagged “Ipade Imole” in Ilesha Osun State, playing his active roles as Special Adviser to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Tuesday.

“The purported claim by the purveyors of such fictitious News is not only barbaric, it is unfounding, misleading and completely False, hence, should be disregarded by the members of the public for it is lacking in truth.

“Alhaji Muniru Adebayo Raji, was invited by the police for clarification on a petition written by one Adebayo Adeleke. He honoured the police invitation and returned home after some minutes. For a fact, he is currently at the ongoing Public engagement programme tagged “Ipade Imole” by His Excellency, Sen Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, in Ilesha Osun State, playing his active roles.”
