Fresh Graduate Crushed to Death In Front Of Campus
Not quite long after her clearance in preparation for National Youth Service Corp (NYSC), a fresh graduate of Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, Miss Mary Ogechi Ezekiel, has been crushed to death on Tuesday by a moving tanker.
According to reports, she was striked to desth in front of the institution.
Marry graduated with Second-Class upper division from the department of accounting in the Polytechnic. She came to the school for academic clearance, in preparation for the NYSC scheme.
,,,,,,,While going out of the school gate after her clearance exercise, she exchanged pleasantries with her colleagues and then expressed joy that she would soon be mobilized for NYSC.
Shortly after, she was reportedly “hit by a tricycle while trying to cross to the other side of the road. Before she could get up, she was then crushed by a fast-moving truck again,”
______Marry, who was raised by her struggling mother, was said to have received a scholarship from an organization to do a post-graduate course before her sad demise.
_____Consequent on her death, angry students of the Abia State Polytechnic stormed the street and surrounded the tanker that crushed her to death.
At the time of filing this report, no official statement from the school authority.
