Investiture of Gafaar Akindele Alamu as NCRIB Western Area Committee Chairman Holds March in Osogbo

The Western Area Committee of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) has set Thursday, March 7th, 2024 for investiture of its new Chairman, Mr Gafaar Akindele Alamu (AIIN, ACIB) and Award of Excellence.

The new Western Area Committee of NCRIB Chairman, who made this known to the OsunReporters News in Osogbo on Wednesday, said the event would be another intriguing moment in the annals of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers especially within the Western Area Committee of Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Ekiti, Kwara and Osun States.

According to Mr Alamu, the event, which would command the attendance of eminent personalities and professionals across Nigeria and beyond has been designed to further engender the brand value of the Council by doing justice to the theme of the event “BREAKING BARRIERS THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS AND FRATERNITY” by a competent guest speaker, Prof. Festus M. Epetimehin, Professor of Risk Management And Insurance, Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State.

He noted that the Director, Central Technological Laboratory and workshops OAU, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Prof. Oseni Kehinde Owolarafe will Chair the occasion, while Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour; Hon. Justice Kunle Adeigbe (Rtd) as Father of the Day; His Royal Majesty, Oba Olatunbosun Adebamiji AbdulAzeez, (Ogunkojo II, Ilufemiloye I) Akire of Ikire-Ile Kingdom will be the Royal Father of the Day and President of NCRIB, Prince Babatunde Adeleke Oguntade (FIIN, FCIB) is the Chief Host of the event scheduled to hold at Leisure Spring Hotel, Iwo Rood, Osogbo, Osun State at 12:00 noon.

The Osogbo born business administrator and Director/CEO of the Royal Chambers Insurance Brokers Ltd, maintained that efforts by the Events Organising Committee and Investiture Planning Committee with the support of NCRIB members are in top gear for the successful Investiture and Award of Excellence programme.

“Without mincing words, I am certainly sure that the Events Organising Committee and Investiture Planning Committee are working assiduously to ensure a hitch free event, especially, putting into consideration that the investiture would be held at this economic meltdown where the theme of the programme need to be elaborately discussed in the perspective of Nigeria.

“We are looking forward to receiving many net worth and professional guests including Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State while our members from Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Ekiti, Kwara, host state, Osun and other states of the Federation under the host of our President, Prince Babatunde Adeleke Oguntade (FIIN, FCIB) will be in attendance. Mr Gafaar Akindele Alamu who is a Master’s Degree holder in Business Administration (MBA), become an Associate Member of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers in 2007.

He is a member of the Technical Committee of NCRIB, Osun State Chapter and has served as the Vice Chairman of the Western Area Committee of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) from 2021 to 2023 before becoming the Chairman of the same Area Committee in 2023.
