Titi Tomori-Ponnle Lauds Oyetola’s Appointment As Minister of Blue Economy

The former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Otunba (Mrs) Titi Tomori-Ponnle, has congratulated the newly appointed Minister of Marine And Blue Economy , Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola on his appointment by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
This is contained in a felicitation message made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Monday. She described the appointment as a round peg in a round hole.
The Osogbo born Educationist and grassroots politician who was the APC PCC Southwest Grassroot Engagement And Orientation Campaign Director in the 2023 Presidential Election, expressed her optimism about Oyetola’s ability to positively pioneer the Marine And Blue Economy system in Nigeria.
In her statement, Titi Tomori-Ponnle highlighted Oyetola’s past achievements, particularly during his tenure as the immediate past governor of Osun State. She praised his prudent management of the State’s resources even in the face of tough economic challenges, noting he would contribute immensely to the revamping of the Nigerian economy . She also noted that his forthrightness and integrity stand him in good stead for the assignment.
While thanking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Oyetola as a Minister, Otunba Titi Tomori-Ponnle believed the new cabinet members would bring positive changes that would solve the challenges of Nigeria.
