,,,,,Information reaching the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS has it that, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reportedly appointed former Governor of Benue State and immediate past Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Senator Dr. George Akume, as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

,,,,,While this appointment has yet to be officially confirmed, several reliable sources have indicated that George Akume is set to assume this significant role in Nigeria’s government.

,,,Born on December 27, 1953, in Wannune, Tarka Local Government Area of Benue State, George Akume has a rich background in Nigerian politics.

After completing his secondary education, he pursued higher studies at the School of…Basic Studies, Makurdi, and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
