APC Suspends Deputy Senate President, Omo-Agege
….The All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege.
The lawmaker was suspended by his Ward Executive Committee (The Orogun Ward 2), in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to a communique issued by the Delta State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress, obtained by newsmen, the party accused Omo-Agege of greedily and illegally hijacking the party from the ward to the state and personally handpicked the National Publicity Secretary, without due consultations.
……The Delta State APC which has been thrown into crisis, had on a few days ago suspended the Chairperson of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Lauretta Onochie for alleged anti-party activities.
