Asiwaju and I will win Despite the low turnout – Taofeek Adeyemi

An Honourable Member, representing, Mushin Constituency 1, at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Taofeeq Adeyemi Alli, has assured the Nigerians and mushin contituents that , despite the low turnout of voters in the ongoing elections he is most certain that he and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), will win the presidential election held throughout Nigeria, today .

He dropped the hints while addressing pressmen in his constituency office in Lagos.

“According to him, his confidence stems from the fact that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a grassroots politician who knows his onions.”

” A one time former Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA said he wouldn’t know the reason for the low turnout . whether if it is the cashless policy that caused the low turnout of electorates in today’s general election, because, according to him, the turn out was not encouraging in his own polling unit.”

“Because We went round sensitizing and educating citizens on the reasons why they should come out to vote since we have a candidate from Lagos state. We registered over six million voters and thought we could bring out at least 4 million voters to cast their votes. “I don’t know of other polling units, but the turn out was low in my own polling unit. But that not withstanding, right now, Asiwaju is winning.”

Hon. Alli also said his performance will speaks for him In the past four years that , he has sponsored bills and also promoted so many motions in the aspect of law making.

Speaking further, Hon. Alli stated that in terms of infrastructural development and empowerment, he has done more in the past four years and is planning to do more by God’s grace .

“I have facilitated a 40 bed hospital, facilitated the construction of two roads, several blocks of classrooms, super empowerment programme, a well furnished PHC etc. in addition to what I did as local government chairman, which includes, constructing over 300 boreholes and so many more”, he added.


Hon Alli said he is satisfied with the preparedness of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC and the electoral process which, according to him, is the best so far.
