19-year-old burglar arrested for stealing phones
……The Ogun So-Safe Corps on Friday said it has arrested one Abiodun Elegbede a 19-year-old teenager for burgling a church and two other houses at Ago Araromi Community, Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government area of Ogun.
The suspect was arrested following a distress call received by the Corps for prompt intervention.
……This was contained in a press release issued from the office of the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the office of its Director of Information and Public Relations, Assistant Commander, Moruf Yusuf.
According to the release, the Corps at about 0200hrs on Thursday, 26th January 2023 received a distress call requesting the prompt intervention of the Corps on the strange face who burgled into an apartment and later identified to be Mr. Elegbede Abiodun, a resident of Ajegunle, Ipobe in Ipokia Local Government Area.
The suspect, Elegbede was arrested by the Ilaro Divisional Patrol Team led by Divisional Officer SC Ojenride Wasiu.
……The items found on the suspect are;4 itel phones. Meanwhile, the suspect together with the exhibit had been transferred to the Nigeria Police, Ilaro Divisional Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution
