Olowu-Kuta hosts Osun Online Media Practitioners
THE Olowu of Kuta, HRM Oba Dr Hameed Adekunle Makama Oyelude, Tegbosun III has disclosed that his kingship is for all his subjects without exception, therefore, he is pro-establishment.
Oba Makama pledged he will give his maximum support to the new administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke as the sixth Governor with the same equal strength he supported former Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola and his predecessor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola in the interest of the infrastructure development of the State.
Kabiyesi made the statement while receiving the members of the Osun Online Media Practitioners Association (OOMPA) in his Palace in Owu Kuta, on Sunday.
The Monarch encouraged the Osun People of the importance of giving adequate support to the government of the day for the infrastructure development in the state.
He also charged Governor Adeleke to carefully appoint those who are ready to serve the state with their strength and capacity for human development.
According to Olowu of Kuta, “As a traditional ruler, I will support the current administration under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke with the equal mind and strength that I used to support the previous government in the interest of the state.
“Every reasonable monarch that wants the dividend of Democracy for his subjects must be pro-establishment.” he said.
Jare Taimiyu, in his brief address as the Chairman of the Association told Kabiyesi that the visit was to show appreciation to him for his moral guide and support in the past years.
The Publisher of Insight Media, went further that the association found it noteworthy to congratulate him on his promotion to the Deputy Chairman of the Osun State Council of Obas and the anniversary of Owu day, held at the Palace on Saturday.
While addressing the Palace, the former Chairman of OOMPA, Mr Adesoji Omosebi called for advice from the Monarch where necessary.
Oba Kuta, in his goodwill message to the representatives of the association, pledged his utmost support in any area of importance to the online Practitioners.
He said he always reckoned with the objectivity, promptness and professionalism of the association in discharging its duties.
The Monarch in his friendly manner announced the Ex-chairman Adesoji Omosebi as “Baale Oniroyin” of iroyin(Chief information officer in the online media space.
