…..She further urged Abuja residents to relocate to another state with immediate effect and be cautious about their movements.
In her words:👇

In a follow-up tweet, she continued:
“Go to another state if you can. Be extremely careful with your movements and #StaySafe
“The locations of these explosives are quite shocking. They were designed for maximum MAYHEM‼️
I cannot compromise the DSS investigation. That’s it for now”
…..The Nigeria Police Force has refuted the speculation that bombs have been buried across Abuja.
Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi issued a statement on Saturday.
The FPRO noted that it was disheartening that some persons were spreading false information after the terror alert by the United States, the United Kingdom, and others.
Adejobi said among the individuals making the claim are presumed peace ambassadors and patriotic agents of national unity in Nigeria.
…..He said the broadcast of fearful rumours to further create more panic in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) would do the country no good.
Adejobi insists Abuja is safe and there is no imminent threat, nor is the FCT saturated with bombs as speculated.
The police advised residents “to disregard this fake news which was purportedly sponsored to create fear in our people and heat up the polity”.
“TERROR THREAT: It is surprising and disheartening to read in the news and on social media that bombs are being planted in every area of the Federal Capital Territory, even from some individuals who are presumed to be peace ambassadors and patriotic agents of national unity in Nigeria.
“I dont think it will do our country any good to continually spread such fearful rumours to further create more panic to citizens and residents of the FCT and Nigeria at large.
…..“We still reiterate that the Federal Capital Territory is safe and there is no imminent threat, neither is the FCT being saturated with bombs as speculated in the news. We therefore urge residents of the FCT and Nigerians at large to disregard this fake news which was purportedly sponsored to create fear in our people and heat up the polity.
……..“We will continue to adopt all effective operational strategies to decimate the activities of non-state actors and other criminal elements in the country.”
