Lecturer, daughter assault student over boyfriend
,,,,,Social media users have condemned Fred Ayokhai, a lecturer at the Federal University in Lafia, Nasarawa, for hitting a 20-year-old student there.
Ayokhai, who apparently works at the institution’s history and international relations department, was shown on camera with his kids abusing and stripping the woman, now known as Blessing Mathias, naked in a number of viral recordings that our journalist in Abuja was able to secure.
According to information obtained by our journalist, Blessing had previously assaulted the lecturer’s daughter, Emmanuella, for attempting to steal her boyfriend, IG. She found Nuella had her boyfriend’s number on her phone, which she wouldn’t remove, and they got into a fight about it. To defeat Emmanuella, the aforementioned lady assembled her buddies. She was observed beating Emmanuella in several different directions while slapping her and yelling at her to remove the number.
Days after the altercation, Emmanuella assaulted Blessing in vengeance with the aid of her father, Fred Ekpe Ayokhai, and his brother, Praise Shola, as well as other individuals.
Ayokhai used scissors to sever Blessing’s clothing while she was also being taken to an unidentified location, as seen in a viral video.
As a result of the viral tweet about the attack on a female teen in Lafia, the Nasarawa State Police Command promptly launched an inquiry into the issue, according to a statement made on its official Twitter page.
It is encouraging to report that two suspects have been detained in connection with the crime, and that the car that took the victim to the assault’s unnamed site has been found. Arresting the other suspects who are still at large is a priority.
