In his most recent film, Anikulapo, veteran actor and producer Kunle Afolayan has explained why he chose to put his daughter, Eyiyemi Afolayan, in the part of Princess Omowunmi.

Afolayan said the part demanded someone attractive, and his daughter is unquestionably lovely. He released a little video clip of his daughter and himself on his Instagram account on Wednesday. The young person, he continued, is also a talented singer in addition to being an acting natural.

The first child of Afolayan, Eyiyemi, made her acting debut on the set of Anikulapo.

Afolayan said, “If you want to portray the role of a princess, I think there is no giving that the person has to be beautiful and she is beautiful.

“It felt good because I did not have to pay her, even though I was paying her directly or indirectly.”

Eyiyemi responded, “Omowunmi is really dumb because Saro never proposed love to her but she already started forming ideas in her head,” when questioned about her part as Princess Omowunmi in the film. She is indeed attractive, but she’s also gullible.

In a statement about Eyiyemi’s debut that was made accessible to The PUNCH, Kunle Afolayan Productions said, “Train up a youngster in the way he or she should go so that when they are older they won’t stray from it. It is clear that Kunle Afolayan makes an effort to instill worthwhile lessons in his kids. Regardless of the social standing of their father, everyone speaks well of them and their respect and humility.

In addition to being a natural actor, Eyiyemi Afolayan’s father affirms that she has a good voice, exactly like her brother Diekoloreoluwa Afolayan, Kunle Afolayan’s first son and second child.

The PUNCH previously revealed that Netflix’s weekly global chart for the most-watched non-English Netflix original movie between October 3 and October 9, 2022, put Afolayan’s blockbuster first with 8,730,000 watched hours.
