Weeks after fourth wedding, Ooni marries two wives

The information circulating around the Palace of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi indicates that the paramount King has concluded plans to marry two more wives few weeks after his fourth wedding to Olori Mariam Anako, from Ebira in Kogi State.

OSUNREPORTERS NEWS gathered that Tobi Phillips, a graduate of Marine Science from the University of Lagos also a former Beauty Queen and Ashley Adegoke are reportedly the names on the revered monarch list and will soon be getting married to them.

Tobi philips was initially speculated to be replacing Olori Zainab Wuraola who had quit her marriage with the Monarch but Ooni eventually took Prophetess Silekunola Naomi’s hand in marriage, but the marriage that produced Prince Tadenikawo Ogunwusi ended in December 2021.

Queen Ashley on the other hand, is a chartered accountant and currently runs an NGO named Ashley Adegoke Foundation that caters to less privileged kids and widows.

She has a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Greenwich, and currently runs her businesses in the United Kingdom.

Information further has it that an invitation to the traditional wedding of Ashley Adegoke, also princess from the Lafogido royal house, is already in circulation.

It would be recalled that Ife high chiefs had made it clear in one of the traditional weddings of the monarch that the Ooni by virtue of his status is a polygamist.
