The police in Cross River State has arrested Mr. Charles Ugumanum Okpora, boyfriend of the Cross River State school of Nursing student, (Itigidi) for allegedly leaking sxxxx t*pes of his lover, Grecious Paradise.

…Mr. Charles was arrested last weekend in Calabar following a petition to the Assistant Inspector General of Police, zone 6 Calabar, filed by rights lawyer, Usani Odum.

,,,,,Odum, a South African based legal practitioner had taken up the case probono, by petitioning the police and other relevant authorities, who swung into action by arresting the suspect, after concluding investigations.

Ms. Precious was a subject of public ridicule last month, after three sxx&xually explicit videos of her surfaced online.

Her boyfriend, Charles had in a chat interview confessed to sending the s$$x t*pes to six close friends of Ms. Gracious on Messenger, and blamed them for sharing it on other platforms.

…..He later pleaded for forgiveness and apologized to Ms. Gracious John, her family, and friends, and blamed it on the fact that he was tipsy after drinking rum with a few friends.

,,,,,,,Commenting on the arrest, Mr Odum said: “Following my last post wherein I promised to get justice for the victim of the leaked s$$$x t*pes, We followed up the promise with a strong-worded petition to the AIG in zone 6, Calabar, and did all we needed to do to mobilize the police for that purpose.

“I’m happy to announce to us all that the suspect, Mr. Oberu (Charles) Ugumanum Okpora was arrested last weekend, and shall be charged before the Court as soon as practicable. Our goal is to ensure he’s prosecuted under the Nigerian Cyber Crimes Act, 2015.

,,,“I want to thank my colleagues and friends who helped us in this regard. And I want to reiterate this point to would-be blackmailers; we’d get you. Distance is not a problem. We don’t need to be in Nigeria to help the police pick you up.”

….Efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Mrs. Irene Ugbo for comments on the matter proved abortive, as calls to her mobile phone rang several times without any response.
