NASS Media Aides passes vote of confidence on group chairman, Oyelude
The Leadership and members of the National Assembly Progressive Media Aides (NAPMAIDES) has passed a vote of confidence on the group chairman, Prince Oyelude Oladele.
The group’s leadership and members in a press statement made available on Tuesday to news men, says the frivolous news most insensitive flying around social media regarding the purported suspension of Prince Oyelude Oladele, written on a forged letterhead paper of NAPMAIDEs is just a ruse.
NAPMAIDEs is an initiative of Prince Oyelude Oladele, established for a united body of the Media Aides to all the Progressive Parliamentarians in both chambers of National Assembly and projection of their activities.
The group’s leadership and member, which consists of the leaders from the 36 states and the six geo-political zones of the country made the resolution during its general meeting held on Monday at the Senate New Building of the National assembly.
The motion on the vote of confidence was moved by the North East Leader, Mal. Abba Audu (Borno) and seconded by Mr Solomon Solomon Amanzi (North Central) and was subsequently ratified by the following National, Zonal and State leaders who were on attendance at the meeting listed below with their signature according to each geopolitical zone.
The statement read;
“Arising from the meeting of the leadership and members of the National Assembly Progressive Media Aides (NAPMAIDEs), held today being the 7th day of March 2023, in National Assembly.”
“We unanimously passed a “Vote of Confidence” on our Chairman, Prince Oyelude Oladele and promised to support him in all ramifications.”
“The frivolous news most insensitive flying around social media regarding the purported suspension of our Chairman, written on a forged letterhead paper of NAPMAIDEs is just a ruse. We condemn in totality the actions of the perpetrators who are not genuine members of the group but decided to cause disaffection in the group created by the Chairman himself.”
“We do not received any document or letter from anyone or group of persons relating to the purported suspension exept the one on social media written on forged NAPMAIDEs letterhead paper with fake phone number of our Chairman.”
We, therefore urge our faithful members and the general public to disregard any social media frivolous and concocted lies peddled by some handful of non documented Legislative Aides whose aim were to use the group to make money and for their selfish principal interest.”
Also, a communique has been forwarded to the Senate President, Distinguished Ahmed Lawan; Speaker House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila; Senate Leader, Sen. Abdullahi Yahaya Abdullahi; Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ado Doguwa and the Sergeant at Arms of the National assembly.
