Man hospitalized after being raped by two women
Zimbabwean police have opened an investigation into the kidnapping and rape of a 27-year-old man until he lost consciousness.
According to iharare, the man is fighting for his life in a local hospital after being drugged and raped before being dumped by the sex-hungry women.
The victim is said to be admitted to a Harare provincial hospital while police continue to search for the perpetrators.
The outlet reported that police confirmed the incident saying it happened at a shopping mall.
The complainant left his home at night to pick up his wife who was staying with his aunt in the same suburb. The complainant went to the bus stop at the Mukwena shopping center where he boarded a white Mazda Verisa which had three occupants; two women seated in front and a man who was in the back seat, ”said a police source.
“The complainant asked where they were taking her, and the driver told her that she wanted to drop off one of her colleagues. After driving a short distance, the driver stopped and parked the vehicle in a secluded spot along the gravel road towards the Dora business center.
“The complainant sensed danger and tried to get out of the vehicle, but the man sitting next to him in the back grabbed him by the waist,” said a police detective quoted by iharare.
Although the young man tried to defend himself, one of the women pulled out a gun.
“She ordered him to calm down before injecting her with an unknown substance into her right thigh. He passed out and doesn’t remember what happened next, they took turns pouncing on him.
“It is not known exactly how the complainant got back to the Mukwena business center, but he then regained consciousness and told his story to a security guard. He begged the guard to call his relative to rush to the mall. His relative came and rushed him to the Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital.
It is reported that the man has not yet regained consciousness, and the medical examination carried out on him proved that he had indeed been raped.
