RIP: Nine people die in auto crash
Nine passengers were killed on November 8 in a road accident in Duma area of Edati Local Government Area of Niger State.
It was revealed that the accident involved two other trucks, a commercial bus and another car.
One of the trucks was carrying placards while the other had some supplies.
The bus is said to be among the traders visiting the weekly market in South Village.
However, it was reported that the speeding bus collided with one of the main vehicles before the second bus also collided with them.
The first accident resulted in an explosion and a large fire where the other two vehicles fled.
Seven of the nine people killed are said to have died in the blaze, their car completely burnt down.
The injured were reportedly taken to Kutigi General Hospital.
Firefighters and officials from the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) went there to put out the blaze and help the victims.
Last week, six people were killed and 13 injured in a tragic bus accident on the Bida-Kutigi road.
