The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has announced that the 5G telecommunications technology auction will start on December 13, 2021.
This comes in a report by the executive director of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Oluwatoyin Asaju, on Thursday, November 4, at a stakeholder consultation meeting in Lagos State.
As a result, the commission set the storage price for the 3.5GHz spectrum auction at $ 197.4 million. The deposit amount is the minimum amount the seller will accept as a successful offer. In the authorization system, it prevents the seller who offers the price less than what the owner will receive to win the auction.
Asaju also announced that the commission would start a fraudulent auction on December 10, 2021. “The reserve value of only 75 billion naira (seventy-five billion), or one hundred and ninety million naira. seven and four hundred thousand in the United States. Only dollars (USS 197,400,000.00) will be used, ”Asaju said.
