Buhari vows to exposes, deals with sponsors of IPOB, Yoruba Nation
President MUHAMMADU BUHARI said his government is ready to take decisive actions against secessionist agitators and their sponsors who threaten the nation’s security as Nigeria’s unity is not negotiable.
He made this known in his nationwide broadcast to Nigerians this morning on October 1st where he explained that the recent arrests of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), MAZI NNAMDI KANU and that of the promoter of the Yoruba nation, SUNDAY ADEYEMO, as well as the ongoing investigations being conducted had revealed certain high-profile financiers behind these individuals while the government was pursuing the identified financiers, including one identified as a serving member of the National Assembly.
BUHARI equally declared that the past eighteen months had been the most difficult periods in the history of Nigeria, adding that since the civil war, he has not seen a period of more heightened challenges than what had been witnessed in this period.
