Reactions As UNIOSUN calls For PTA meeting

People have started reacting following the decision of the management of the Osun State University, Osogbo under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Prof Labode Popoola to hold a “Parents Teachers Meeting”.

OSUNREPORTERS NEWS gathered that the meeting which the institution tagged Parents’ Forum is scheduled to hold on the University main campus in Osogbo.

….. memo signed by the Registrar of the institution, GAA Shittu reads, ” This is to inform all esteemed Parents/Guardians of Students of Osun State University that a meeting of Parents’ Forum has been scheduled to hold as follows.”

The meeting is scheduled to hold on Monday at Olagunsoye Oyinlola auditorium by 3pm. Shittu added that the welfare of the students of the institution will be discussed.

However,Nigerians on social media have continued to react to the move by the institution management.

…Many wondered why a university will be calling for a parents meeting, tagging it a glorified primary school for calling parents of matured students to meeting to discuss them.
