NCDC names Lagos, Akwa-Ibom, Rivers as drivers of the country’s COVID-19 surge
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (N-C-D-C), has reported 473 infection cases in the country, naming Lagos, Akwa-Ibom and Rivers States as drivers of the country’s COVID-19 surge as at yesterday.
The N-C-D-C made this known via its website this morning.
The new infections indicate an increase from the 565 cases announced a day earlier as the country entered a new phase of the pandemic.
