Fake News Deadlier Than Covid-19
Lagos state Commissioner for Information and Strategy GBENGA OMOTOSO has implored stakeholders in information management to join in the fight against fake news, describing the aftermath of fake news as deadlier than the COVID-19 pandemic.
OMOTOSO spoke at the opening of a three-day retreat organised by the Ministry of Information and Strategy for Public Affairs Officers at the management level.
The commissioner urged the Public Affairs Officers to catch up with the new trend in information management to check fake news.
