How Two Convicted Females Put Up Drama In Court To Resist Jail (Photos)

After they were found guilty of stealing, conspiracy, and child kidnapping, a Magistrate Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital has reportedly sentenced two suspects identified as Favour Godwin and Ada Ebere to 15 years and 10 years imprisonment respectfully.

The duo later put up mild drama in the Court after their conviction to resist being taken to prison.

An eyewitnesses reported that immediately the magistrate gave verdict on the case, the suspects immediately fell on the floor and began rolling on a deliberate action to resist being taken to the correctional centre. The two female Correctional Center Officers were unable to lift the suspects from the floor, so many attempts were made but all was to no avail.

The suspects remained on the floor for several minutes as they refused to be taken to prison, it took the combined efforts of the male police operatives who were later brought to the scene to pull them off the floor after which they were both handcuffed and taken out of the court

It was also gathered that when the police operatives and the suspects got to the vehicle that was meant to transport them to the prison, they (the suspect) attempted to resist entering the vehicle, but this time, they were overpowered by the operatives.

According to the prosecuting officer it was one of the most surprisingly funny events that have happened so far.


As at the time of filling this report, both of them have been taken to where they we serve the next 15 and ten years of their lives as proclaimed by the Court of law.
