Latest Update On Suspected Rapists, Killers Of Unilorin Student Who Appear In Court

The Kwara State High Court sitting in ilorin presided over by Justice Adebayo Yusuf on Wednesday commenced hearing on the case of eight suspected rapists and killers of a 300 level student of University of Ilorin, Olajide Blessing.

The suspects were facing eleven count charge including criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, rape, culpable homicide, theft & possession of proceeds of armed robbery.

In his submission, the prosecution team led by the Anthony General and Commissioner for Justice of the State, Barrister Salman Jawondo, promised to get legal representatives for the suspects who do not have against the next adjourned date.

At the end of the hearing, Court adjourned the case till 6th of July, 2021 while the suspects were ordered to be remanded in Mandala Correctional facility.
