Osun Firstlady Extends Humanitarian Support To Ataoja West, East Communities, Distributes Welfare Packages To Residents

In continuation of her efforts to cushion the effect of the current economy and financial predicament among people, the state of Osun firstlady, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola through IleriOluwa Development Initiative has distributed food items to the resident of Ataoja West and Ataoja East in Osogbo West LCDA.

State of Osun Firstlady, through the charity organization donated food items such as pack of rice, beans and noodles to hundreds of residents within the two communities.

While speaking, the facilitator of the programme, Mrs Aminat Kareem Atobatele described the gesture as part of the charitable agenda of the President of IleriOluwa Development Initiative, who is the FirstLady of the State, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola to help the masses, while the philanthropic gesture was aimed at extending helping hands to the vulnerables as part of the aims and object of the organization, especially to mitigate the harsh impact of Covid-19 global pandemic on the residents.

Atobatele added that this is not the first time the organization would be reaching out to the people across Osun, adding that the residents should continue to support the progressive government of Governor Oyetola,

In her words, “We should thank the FirstLady of the State of Osun, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola who is the President of the IleriOluwa Development Initiative, for this humanitarian services to the people of Osun.

“The organization has being doing it to assist and rescue thousands of Osun residents, most especially at this critical time of Coronavirus global pandemic.

“We urge our people to continue supporting the government of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, and adhere to the lay down rules against the spread of Covid-19 across Osun.

Appreciating the kind gesture on behalf of beneficiaries, the Chairman of Ataoja West Community, Rt Conl Abinno Vincent popularly known as ‘Baba-Chalee’ gave kudos to the philanthropic gesture of the IleriOluwa Development Initiative under the Osun State FirstLady, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola, adding that the government of Governor Oyetola will succeed beyond 2023.

The Ataoja East Community Chairman, Hon Shola Ayandirin also eulogised the government of the state of Osun, most especially, the firstlady Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola for remembering the people at the grassroots at this critical time.

Alh Iyiola Lasisi from Ataoja East, Mrs Popoola Folashade from Ataoja West praised the facilitator of the kind gesture, Mrs Aminat Kareem Atobatele who is an aspirant for the Chairmanship position of the Osogbo West Local Council Development Area for bringing opportunity to their door steps, adding that the state government should also looked into their demand over the roads linking their communities.
