By Mukhtar Ajelogbon, Osogbo
A community of active citizens tracking the implementation of government projects in various communities to ensure service delivery, known as #TrackaNG, has charged Nigerian law makers to judiciously make use of the amount budgeted for their constituency projects for the year 2020.
TrackaNG, a project by budgIT, also publicly drawn the attention of Nigerians to different millions of naira budgeted for each lawmaker at the 9th Parliament of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for some constituency projects that will be of benefit to Nigerians.
It could be recalled that OSUNREPORTERS NEWS had reported a series of projects nominated in some senatorial districts of Osun in the 2019 budget despite the budget was passed before the inauguration of the present Senate.
As characteristic of Tracka NG which usually tags public officials to tweets, has again commenced the tracking of 2020 constituency projects as indicated in the budget, asking the people to monitor the execution and delivery.
