Otunba Jacob Adejare ‘Damjay’ Pledges Support For Education, Sponsors Staff To University In Osun

It was like a nightmare for Saliu Oluwatoyin Steven in Osogbo on Wednesday, 12th February, 2020 when his unachievable goal becomes achieved with the help of God’s sent boss who sponsored his university education after third attempt of university admission.

A 25-year-old Steven from Offa, Kwara State, who recently joined Damjay Grand Royal Palace, behind NIPCO Filling Station, OgoOluwa area, Osogbo as a staff, scored 253 marks in the last JAMB examination in an attempt to study Political Science at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

For the past seven years, Steven’s parents were unable to sponsor his education to the higher institution after two consecutive admission offered at UNILAG and UNILORIN due to financial constrain.

According to James, who told OsunReporters Correspondent in a telephone interview, said: “It was a huge surprise of my life when my boss and benefactor, Chief Damjay announced my sponsorship to the Obafemi Awolowo University to become a Political Scientist after sever years of seeking admission and two successful but failed admission into UNILAG and UNILORIN in 2015 and 2017 due to financial incapacitated by my parents.

“I’m currently overwhelmed, he has sent enough money to start my university education into my account and I will resume on Monday as a student. My prayer for my boss is that God will continue to guide, guard and favor him and his family. He will never witness sorrow in his life, God will continue to elevate him,” he added.

The sponsor, Chief Jacob Adejare Oyegoke ‘Damjay’ who is a world class business tycoon from Ifon-Orolu in Osun State, the Chief Executive Officer of Damjay Group of Company which includes; Damjay Films Record, Damjay Hotels, Damjay Oil & Gas, Damjay Favourite Bread and Supermarket in many parts of Nigeria promised to invest on sponsoring education of young Nigerians.

Otunba Damjay recently went back to school to seek more knowledge due to his parents financial incapacitated to sponsor his education at his younger age.  He has pledged his commitment to education of young Nigerians.
