EXPOSED! What N-Power Beneficiaries Should Know About Unpaid Backlogs Of 28 Months Stipends
An Npower beneficiary who is courageous to open up over the nonpayment of 28months stipends has voiced out from Kogi State, identified as Yakubu sumaila shadrack with code number 0143 which place of primary Assignment is ADP Ayingba in Dekina LGA of the state has lamented over non payment of his stipends for 28 months.
Yakubu sumaila shadrack explained his pitiable story of work without pay, “I am one of those engaged as Npower beneficiary in 2016 when the programme started but I have not been paid for 28 months.
“Before coming out public on this matter, I had complained and made to sign series of documents by the focal person in Kogi state but all the efforts have not resulted to any meaningful result as the backlogs remain unpaid. This situation has endured me serious hardship as I often borrow from friends and colleagues to transport to my Primary Place of Assignment. Thus, this has heaped up unimaginable amount of debt as I always hope on daily basis that the backlogs would be paid”.
Some evidential documents made available by Yakubu sumaila shadrack to butress his claim added that he has only been paid four months; May 2019, June 2019, July 2019 and August 2019 since the programme kick started November 2016.
