OSUN: APC Inaugurates ‘IleriOluwa Group’ In Osogbo Local Government (Photos)

Members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) within and outside Osogbo Local Government gathered on Thursday at the ILERIOLUWA campaign office in Osogbo where Wards’ Coordinators of ILERIOLUWA Group in Osogbo were sworn in.

Speaking at the event, Hon Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties, Engr Olalekan Badmus, stated that the Governor would continue to embark on more civil-oriented projects, while this present dispensation was lauded for being responsive to the yearnings of people of the state viz à viz prompt payment of salaries, rehabilitation of 335 Primary Health Centers, rehabilitation and construction of roads across the state, lighting up of major roads to ensure safer night movement and many others that are glaring to the public eyes.

Members of ILERIOLUWA were reminded that it was imperative for them to work on spreading the tentacles of the party, All Progressives Congress beyond the present position as it is believed that a number of people are fascinated by the performance of Mr. Governor despite not having any affiliation with the party.

The convener, Olalekan Badmus added; “The unity of the party is job of everyone and all hands must be on deck to ensure that none is guilty of fanning the ember of discord in the party, while we must also seize every given opportunity to promote the good governance of Governor Oyetola in our bid to making State of Osun greater.”

The formal inauguration was conducted by the Secretary General of IleriOluwa Campaign Organization, Mr. Richard Tinubu where five representatives from each ward were confirmed amidst party loyalist. They were charged to continue working in accordance with the rules and regulations of the party in promoting the good work of Governor Oyetola in their respective community.

Party leaders sue for peace and commitment of members within the party, reaffirmed their commitment in working for the re-elction of Governor Gboyega Oyetola in taking the state of Osun to a greater level.

In his remark, Prince Ajibola Nurudeen Matanmi who is the Coordinator for IleriOluwa Group in Osogbo Local Government, stated on behalf of the selected leadership of the group that the IleriOluwa Group started working for sensitization, peace, empowerment and unity of the party with the help of Hon Olalekan Badmus. Prince Jibola thanked Governor Oyetola, First-Lady of the State of Osun and Hon. Lekan Badmus for the opportunity given to them to operate within the All Progressive Congress.

Staunch party leaders, Commissioners, Special Advisers to the Osun Governor, local government parliamentarians, royal father, party executives and members from across Osogbo and the state graced the event.

Kunle Akande, Aremo Adegboyega Lateef, Sikiru Tijani, among others.
