Eidell-Kabir: Imbibe The Spirit Of Love And Tolerance ~ Asiwaju of Ilobuland

As Muslims world over celebrate Eid’l Adha 1445, the Aare Musulumi and Asiwaju of Ilobuland, Chief Abdul Azeez Olamilekan Kolade, has felicitated with Muslim faithful on the commemoration of the feast of the sacrifice.

The Asiwaju of Ilobuland, who is currently in Saudi Arabia performing this year’s Hajj, in a congratulatory message made available to journalists on Saturday, admonished Muslim Ummah to take time to reflect on the lessons that this feast signifies, which include strong faith, selfless act, obedience and total submission to the will of Allah.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive of Azkol Oil International also used the festive season to congratulate Olobu of Ilobu, Oba Ashiru Olatoye Olaniyan II as well as all adherents of Islamic faith in the ancient community.

Chief Kolade, who appreciated the people of Ilobu for the show of love and prayers on his conferment as Asiwaju of Ilobuland on him; pledged to always endeavour to be a good ambassador of the town; just as he vowed do everything within his reach to bring more development to his hometown.


He said “it’s pertinent for all Ilobu sons and daughters to join hands together to foster unity and progress of the town. The development of Ilobu is our collective responsibilities and just as Prophet Ibrahim (ASWM) and Prophet Ismael (ASWM) showed faith in Allah and adhered to His command, we also must be prepared to make whatever sacrifice that is needed in advancing the process and development of Ilobu town, Osun State and Nigeria as a whole.”
