Tyson Fury beats Francis Ngannou by split decision
Michael Buffer reads the judges’ scorecards. The first from Garner is 95-94 for Ngannou. The second from Krebs is 96-93 for Fury. And the third from Pelayo is 95-94 … for Fury. Fury wins a split decision by one point on the third card!
The time has finally come for Francis Ngannou to make his boxing debut. The former UFC champion left Dana White‘s company to sign with PFL, allowing him time to pursue his dream of participating in a boxing match.
Things definitely won’t come easy in Ngannou’s first bout, as he faces Tyson Fury. Fury is a former undisputed world champion and the current WBC heavyweight title holder. Fury has never lost a fight across 34 bouts.
The Main Card is expected to begin at 2:00pm ET / 11:00am PT. The event will take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
