2 men arrested for alleged possession of human hair, flesh
Two individuals have been apprehended by the Osun Police Command for allegedly possessing human hair and flesh.
This is according to SP Yemisi Opalola, the police spokesperson.
According to Opalola, the individuals were apprehended on Thursday in Ijebu Jesa, Osun.
“Around 9.30 a.m., the police got a distress call from Oke Ana Area, on the Iwaraja Erimo Road, from community members reporting an awful odor from the bush in their village.”
“As a result, the police, headed by the DPO of Ijebu Jesa Division, combed the bush and detained one Ojo Gbadebo and one Babatunde Hamsat (both males).”
“When these individuals were apprehended, it was revealed that one of them was carrying a bag containing human hair and flesh.”
“Both suspects and the retrieved exhibits are currently being investigated discreetly by the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID),” she stated.
